This was taken the evening before we trimmed the horse at are ranch in Cochrane Alberta.
My buddy John and I headed to the ranch the night before so we could have the horses in early for the crew start when they got to the Ranch in the morning. I went to the ranch on Friday to check on the horses. The weather was amazing just like the middle of May. When I got out into the pasture the horses where acting a little goofy, running all around the pasture, just having fun. Driving to Calgary last Tuesday the high winds were pushing the clouds around. The light was dramatic in the early morning and I couldn’t resist pulling over to take a few shots.

I’ve been getting back into photography, excited to take another look at the world around me with a new eye. Check out my new HDR images. You can see 7 of them in an informal showing at Starbucks in Banff, Alberta on Main Street. They have been hung today and will be there for the next few months. I don’t write a lot but I take photos so my plan is to blog one new photo a week.

Feel free to hassle me if I fall behind and I don’t remember to blog my photo. This is a good way for me to keep up with my photography…like a self-imposed deadline that everyone knows about.]]>
